Assistant Director
Job Duties:
Mission: To promote a caring and non-violent environment for the optimal growth and development of our children through delivering quality services in the areas of prevention, training, crisis intervention, treatment and advocacy.
Vision: To be recognized as a leading NGO in Asia Pacific specializing in child protection and safeguarding.

Assistant Director
Responsibilities:
- To assist the Director in leading the agency to promote a caring and non-violent environment for the optimal growth and development of our children
- To promote the agency brand and services, execute approved plans and achieve organizational performance objectives
- To identify the needs of the community regarding detection, prevention and treatment of child abuse problems
- To liaise with welfare services, government departments, and other appropriate organizations
- To work with media on child protection and welfare concerns
- To deputise for the Director in her absence
Requirements:
- A Registered Social Worker with degree or above in social work, social science or related disciplines
- At least 12 years solid work experience in the social work field or a relevant public sector organization, preferably 3 years’ experience in a senior position
- Inspirational leadership with strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to manage team members to raise efficiency, productivity and quality
- Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Mandarin
- Having a strong network in the community is definitely an advantage

Job Duties:
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support for the centre daily operations and administrative tasks
- Assist in the preparation of reports and other documentation such as meeting minutes
- Maintain and update the project/ centre’s filing system and database
- Handle inquiries and provide support to service user
- Support for the implementation of parent and children’s therapeutic groups and activities
