Job Duties:

Are you a registered social worker with a heart for supporting families and young children? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our "Play Connect Happy Growth" Positive Parenting Project.

Project Overview:

The project aims to establish and implement a comprehensive preventive project for children aged 12 to 30 months, with the primary goal of fostering a strong parent-child relationship. The project will focus on equipping parents with the knowledge and skills necessary to build a nurturing and supportive environment through interactive play.

The Sensory Play Group sessions will provide a platform for parents and children to engage in sensory play activities that promote bonding, cognitive development and emotional expression. Parents will learn about the benefits of sensory play and gain practical skills to implement at home, fostering a positive and nurturing environment for their children's growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and lead Sensory Play Group sessions for children and parents at Kwai Chung Centre
  • Develop and deliver positive parenting workshops and public education programs
  • Prepare session plans and materials for play group activities
  • Communicate effectively with parents and provide support
  • Assist with agency’s core services, such as hotline support and case management

Requirements:

  • Registered social worker with a passion for child development
  • Degree holder with at least 2 years of working experience in the social work field.
  • Preferably with Playgroup or early childhood service experience
  • Caring, responsible, polite, patient, and creative

Project Clerk

Job Duties:

We are looking for a Project Clerk who will provide clerical and administrative support to our Chuk Yuen Centre and service teams. The candidate should be DSE/Form 7 graduate or above with at least one year working experience and proficiency in PC skills.

 The key responsibilities include:

  • Provide support for the centre daily operations and administrative tasks.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports and other documentation such as meeting minutes.
  • Maintain and update the project/ centre’s filing system and database.
  • Handle inquiries and provide support to service user.
  • Support for the implementation of parent and children’s therapeutic groups and activities.
